A little bit about me:

Originally from the Hawaiian Islands with lots of curls, and even more big ideas. If I wasn’t doing presentation design, I’d be an exhibition designer at a museum somewhere because I love all things experiential design. I believe in laughing as hard as I work, innovating instead of failing, and going the extra mile for the audience.

I am currently the Execute Keynote Design Lead at ServiceNow, supporting our top-line executives with external keynotes. Out of office, I use Scroll down to learn more about my leadership values and passion projects.

Leadership Values:

Creativity, Innovation, Balance.

For a time, I was the lead creative of BOLDforce, the Black Employee Resource Group at Salesforce, and had the opportunity to build out the visual style of their brand, design their event signage and assets - like this MLK Day March banner and signs - and also create their educational and social material.

Early on in my career, I learned the value of giving back. And what’s extremely important to me is giving back to my community of designers and people of color. I started off doing career panels, like the storytelling panel photo above, and now work with a few mentorship programs like YearUp and Here2Help. Each year, I commit to serving 2 non-profits that uphold my values, whether through volunteer mentor, teaching, or design work or a monetary contribution - or both!. 2020’s goals got a bit derailed, but I’ve committed to donating monthly to The East Bay/Oakland Relief Fund for Individuals in the Arts and making quarterly art purchases of black art via 1xRun.

I started to gather fellow visual storytellers at Salesforce as mentors, mentees, and even good friends. So I pulled them altogether to start the Salesforce Visual Storyteller Roundtable - it’s a mouthful, I know, but through word of mouth it took off so fast I didn’t have time to rename it! It’s now a diverse community of designers from all across Salesforce that meet quarterly for design updates, alignment, and brainstorms. If you’d like to be a guest speaker, please reach out, we’re always looking for more ways to build our creativity and productivity.
